Chapter Philanthropy and Service

Mizzou Zeta hosts our iconic Think Pinks Weeks twice a year, once in the fall and once in the spring. These weeks are full of fun events like late night dinner, athletic competitions, ribbon hand outs, and memorial services, all of which benefit a great cauase--Breast Cancer Education & Awareness!

Philanthropy is a big part of every one of our sisters' lives. We pride ourselves on raising money to benefit Breast Cancer Education and Awareness. The Alpha Psi chapter has taken large strides in the amount of service and activities we do both on and off-campus that support our philanthropy.

Ribbon On Richmond

On Tuesday of Think Pink Week, we host a Ribbon on Richmond open to all Mizzou PHA women. During this presentation, women are asked to write a name on a candle. These candles were light to remember friends and loved ones that have had breast cancer and women who have passed away. Speakers are invited to talk about how Zeta Tau Alpha has helped them through times when family members have had breast cancer.  #ThinkPinkWeek

Chick Fil A With ZTA Philanthropy Event

Our Chick Fil A late-night dinner is always a HUGE success! Thank you to everyone who comes out to snack on a late night chicken sandwich with us, and shoutout to our Philanthropy committee for all your continuous hard work! This year's Chic-Fil-A late-night dinner is going to be held on October 13th, hope to see you there! #ThinkPinkWeek

Pink Pancake

Every spring Zeta hosts a 'pink pancake' event. Girls work all night handing out tickets and plates of pancakes to Greek life and the entire Mizzou community. Each ticket raises money for our philanthropy and it is a great way to encourage donations!

Dodge for a Cause

During the spring Think Pink Week, ZTA hosts a dodgeball charity tournament. Dodge for a Cause is an all day event at the Mizzou Rec in which any student at Mizzou is able to put a team together for a small entry donation which goes to our philanthropy. This past spring there were over 20 teams signed up! Zeta members work shifts as referees, coaches, and check in helpers. It's a fun, charity filled day!

Bags for Breast Cancer

Bags for Breast Cancer in a corn-hole tournament held annually during our fall Think Pink Week. The tournament consists of two people teams who sign up with a small donation to compete against other pairings to win customized, Mizzou corn-hole boards! This past fall, the Evan Scholars team won! Bags for Breast Cancer is new to Mizzou Zeta, introduced this past fall by our 2022 VP of Philanthropy Mandy Main, and it has quickly become a beloved and fun money raising event.

Zeta & Mizzou Athletics

Mizzou Zeta's we are proud to be the only sorority on campus paired with Mizzou athletics. We offer our support by attending various "Pink Out" games extending across various sports. We hand out ribbons and cheer on our teams decked out in pink in support of Breast Cancer Education and Awareness!
